UPGRADING OF PIPELINE IN GLEN EINICH
Examining the planning application, the Cairngorms Campaign, while accepting that the upgrading was necessary, felt that the aspects of the application as it stood were unsatisfactory and lodged the objection below.

ORGANISED SPONSORED EVENTS IN THE HIGH CAIRNGORMS
The Campaign recently received notice of the following proposed event in the high Cairngorms and responded in the letter below explaining its opposition.

CAIRNGORMS CAMPAIGN SEMINAR: DEFINING THE FUTURE DIRECTION
Prior to the AGM of October 2004, members of the Campaign held a seminar on what they felt should be the future of the Cairngorms, to help give the efforts of the campaign direction.

PROPOSED REMOVAL OF THE 'CLOSED SYSTEM' ON CAIRN GORM
A briefing paper was prepared for a recent meeting of the Board of the CNPA for consideration of the situation. The paper did not recommend that alteration of the arrangement be actively considered but that the situation be monitored, and that seems to have been the conclusion.

NEW RECORD - EARTHSTARS FOUND IN CAIRNGORMS AREA
A species of earthstar fungus, Geastrum striatum, has been discovered growing near Nethy Bridge in Strathspey.

NOTE OF MEETING BETWEEN ANDREW THIN AND D WATSON
Drennan Watson, as convenor of the Cairngorms Campaign, met Andrew Thin, Chairman of the Cairngorms National Park Authority Board for a discussion on future relations between the Campaign and the Park Authority.

MEETING BETWEEN SCOTTISH ENVIROMENT LINK AND THE CAIRNGORMS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY
The Convenor of the Cairngorms Campaign, and Dick Balharry a committee member of the Campaign, attended a meeting as part of a delegation from Scottish Environment Link with Board and Staff Members of the Cairngorms National Park Authority.

PERTHSHIRE ALLIANCE FOR THE REAL CAIRNGORMS
PARC is campaigning for the boundaries of the Cairngorms National Park to reflect the recommendations made by Scottish Natural Heritage to the Scottish Executive.
